In 1983, Asahi Chemical Industry Co and Asahi Microsystems Inc. jointly established Asahi Kasei Microsystems, Inc., abbreviated as AKM Company, in Japan. Since its establishment, AKM Company has been committed to developing large-scale semiconductor integrated circuits in the field of information and communication. AKM Company has gained reputation in the industry by successfully developing mixed signal integrated circuits based on CMOS. This innovation has also significantly reduced the cost of producing such integrated circuits, demonstrating good application prospects. At present, AKM company is able to provide a series of circuits including analog-to-digital hybrid circuit ICs for mobile communication devices, A/D and D/A conversion circuits based on Delta Sigma self correction technology, and large capacity storage ICs with lossless compression and error correction technology.
